JavaScript?
Why yes, I do like coffee and writing.

I just went to a DoIT class on "Introduction to Scripting." Wow. Computer science majors are not teachers. :D

Is it a class just for fun or what? Just JavaScript or other ones?

I'm writing another comment now because that stupid follow-up thing doesn't show up the first time.

Well, it wasn't required, but learning to script is a skill looked very highly upon in the library world--not many librarians know anything about it. Plus, I want to go into the digital track within the archives track within Library & Info Studies, so it's a skill I hope to acquire.

This one just used JavaScript, but they have classes on PHP and maybe Perl? I don't know which languages off the top of my head.

Not sure what you want me to elaborate on, Sarah, but the teacher of the class was a computer science major and he was a bad teacher. Bad at explaining things, went too fast at certain times, etc.

Do I know more about scripting now than prior to the class? Oh yes, but I really can't say I'm at all knowledgeable about it.
